CHALLENGE
To create a series of 30 recipe walkthrough videos for Accor’s _____ menu, aiming to train chefs nationwide (globally?) digitally.
APPROACH
So much of the art of cooking depends on taste and smell. To get around the challenge of missing these elements, we wanted to focus on the visual aspect of each stage of cooking. We used a crane to achieve an overhead angle, creating a chef’s point of view – the clearest way for other chefs to see the colour, ratios, consistency, heat and volume of the dishes they’ll be creating for customers.
